Texture in the Way of Life
Texture on the hiking trail
Texture of light and brick in Sacramento
And what about the elastic texture of time? It flies smoothly when having fun, yet drags roughly when dutifully dogging work.
I’ve not had time to capture or create an image to express this taffy-pull challenge of returning to work, that necessary reality tugging time from photography. And, therein lies the rub of my existential Which Way Photo Challenge: take time to make a living or make time to take a photo.
All hail the end of the COVID-battical!

Thank you, Hammad. They express how I feel going back to work and away from my camera.

Honestly speaking, I feel the same. From this week, I have re-joined my workplace for once-a-week each month of Work From Office schedule.
Though I’ve received my first shot of vaccine but I wasn’t so ready to go back to my workplace. But I agreed to it, since I have to be there for a week only.

It’s been just over 6 weeks back at my office, slowly increasing hours from 2 per week. The folks are wonderful but the loss of discretionary time is hard. Guess that’s why it’s called work.😳
