    • Well I had to take a pic of our partially finished door. And that picture has been deleted.

      • Thank you, Brian. On a day that beautiful, in a place that nice, bad photos would be a real challenge! 😉

    • Echo Lake is at the summit near South Lake Tahoe. Today it is socked in by fog, snow, and cars. We couldn’t get a place to park.

      • Oh, no! 😏

  5. Very pretty and the kind of place I would be going to with my camera if it was nearby! Where is your Echo Lake?

    • Oh … see above near South Lake Tahoe.

    • Echo Lakes are a pair of lakes at the summit of Hw 50, on the way to the Lake Tahoe basin.

  6. Photos like that are not easy, so much light, so much reflection and where to focus sky or ice. I did a lot of photography like this in my mountaineering days in the Himalayas and Alps and made a mess of many. And …… thanks for following me 🙏🙏

    • Thanks for the compliment. With digital cameras, the cost of taking lots of photos is minimal & then I get to pick the 2-5 of greatest significance to me. Almost too easy compared to film days. The Himalayas and Alps would have been stunning to photograph. I’ll need to look for some of your photos on your blog.
